We are honored to have been consistently awarded Best Workplace in America by our industry. The Printing Industries of America and Graphics Arts Technical Foundation (PIA/GATF) use the eight criteria highlighted below in awarding this recognition. The PIA/GATF base this award on an analysis of the overall performance and current state of printing companies across North America.
Management Practices. Hammer has adopted strong policies that not only ensure the company is compliant with various employment laws, but creates and maintains a safe and harassment-free work environment. Regular awareness training for all employees is required for sexual harassment and violence in the workplace. The company enforces a drug and alcohol free workplace program. Hammer Packaging associates must also adhere to the five share values of integrity, respect, trust credibility and continuous improvement.
Work Environment. Hammer offers many programs that enhance employee satisfaction and morale such as employee/management communications forums, a suggestion/feedback program, casual dress policy, company sponsored luncheons and an annual golf tournament. Our employee volunteerism and community involvement touches a variety of local and national charitable organizations.
