Hammer Participates in Benches on Parade

Hammer Packaging has joined the community arts project, Benches on Parade, which is raising money for local not-for-profits.

Hammer sponsored the transformation of their bench, “Innovation Station”, with the help of local talented artist Amie Freling-Brown. Inspiration for the bench design came from Hammer’s consistent commitment to innovation in its industry. The bench highlights Hammer’s core values; Innovation, Quality, Sustainability, and leading-edge Technology. “We want to make it clear to anyone that visits our facilities that Hammer thinks outside the box and that we lead, not follow the industry”, says Jim Hammer, President and CEO.

Presented by Nazareth College of Rochester, Benches on Parade is a community arts project produced by Dixon Schwabl Advertising Inc. that provides local artists and businesses a chance to design public benches displayed across the Greater Rochester area. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Nazareth College Arts Center, the Rochester City Ballet, the New York Wine and Culinary Center and an additional 501(c)3 nonprofit of the highest bidder’s choice. At the end of the summer, the benches will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
