Hammer Packaging has expanded its finishing capabilities in the areas of slitting, seaming, auto-packaging and sortation. Of particular note is our unique and innovative sortation system that was custom designed specifically for Hammer.

The sortation system came on line in October 2008.  It uses a unique matching process that combines vision detection and bar code scanning to validate the integrity of labels within a bundle.  "This sortation system is critical for our mixed prevention control and is a key element in Hammer's HACCP (Hazardous Analysis Critical, Control Points) process.   It has created many new opportunities for Hammer with our customers", says Pat Oliveto, COO.
