• Hammer implemented a proprietary, first-in-world, mix-prevention sortation system for Cut & Stack labels.  Using an innovative combination of vision inspection, marks, and bar codes, we can identify incorrect labels within a stack of labels.  Other systems can only identify an error by looking at the top of the bundle.

• Hammer developed an innovative technology that allows us to print Shrink Sleeves in offset.  It is all about the seams with Shrink Sleeves, and once we were able to perfect our process, we were able to reduce the width of our seam by 29% versus the industry standard.  This resulted in a  high-quality seam with zero edge-lift and a consistently smooth finish.

• Hammer is the first packaging printer in North America to offer high-quality VSOP web offset printing with variable-sleeve technology and also the first globally to launch a second press of similar configuration.  We believe this technology is a superior alternative to gravure and flexographic printing.

• Hammer's state-of-the-art, narrow-web Nilpeter UV-flexo press pushes Hammer to the forefront of combination flexo printing. It's a perfect match for your Pressure Sensitive Label needs with ten print stations, three screen heads, in-line lamination, reverse printing, embossing, cold foil stamping and much more.
