G7 Master Printer

MATCHING PROOF-TO-PRESS.

Hammer Packaging is one of a very few packaging printers in North America that is certified as a G7 Master Printer.

This distinction means that Hammer is able to confidently match the color integrity of the final printed label to the customer's proof.  Hammer achieves this close visual match by using a near-neutral calibration technique based on gray balance and tone reproduction which eliminates variability inherent across different:

• Presses
• Printing processes  (offset, flexo, gravure, digital, etc.)
• Consumables  (substrates, inks, etc.)
• Mediums  (labels, ads, posters, etc.) 

The advantage to the brand owner is that we can provide our press 'condition' to your designer so they can provide you with a proof that will match the final print image from our press.  You will know sooner what your design will look like, rather than having to wait or travel for a press approval.

A second benefit is that your print file no longer needs to be modified or adjusted to print to any of Hammer's presses regardless of the printing process or consumables used.  This can be a significant cost savings if you use a third-party prepress house.
